Desia Gore

is a Black American writer from Richmond, Virginia. She has written as executive story editor on the Nickelodeon series That Girl Lay Lay and she wrote The Great Nickmas Tree Sliming, a Christmas variety special that aired in 2022. Desia previously developed her comedy series Summers in Imagine Entertainment’s accelerator program, Imagine Impact 3. Currently, she writes as co-producer on the Emmy nominated BET+ series, The Ms Pat Show. As Desia continues her artistic journey, her goals are: to tell the truth, to make it funny, and to grow, eternally, in her love and knowledge of the craft.
