is a Black American writer from Richmond, Virginia. She previously developed her comedy series Summers in Imagine Entertainment’s accelerator program, Imagine Impact 3. She was a writer on the Nickelodeon series That Girl Lay Lay and the writer of their Christmas variety special, The Great Nickmas Tree Sliming (2022). She is currently co-producer on the Emmy nominated BET+ series, The Ms Pat Show. As Desia continues her artistic journey, her goals are: to tell the truth, to make it funny, and to grow, eternally, in her love and knowledge of the craft.
